VMUG Session – The Art of VMware Performance: Optimize your workloads

VMUG the art of VMware performance session

Wow! I had a blast during my session at the German VMUG, where I had the opportunity to give a talk about core: VMware vSphere performance optimization tips.

I gave a session titled “The Art of VMware Performance: Optimize your workloads and clusters at Zero Cost” based on my experience as a Senior VMware consultant and Architect.
A session packed with VMware performance optimization tips, straight from the field!

This is because I unfortunately see a lot of misconfiguration in vSphere environments that causes performance issues and just overall stability degradation of the entire vSphere stack.
So, I took it upon myself to contribute to the community and pour all those recommendations into a single session.

The feedback that I got from the session was amazing, for which I thank you! I had an amazing time.
But as promised, I was going to upload the slides to my blog so you can take all these recommendations to your environment.
There are some additional bonus slides that I included in the slide deck, but we didn’t get that far during the Usercon. And the last slide contains all links and references.

A big shout out to the German VMUG leaders for having me! And also a shoutout to Kristof Asaert, Maarten Van Driessen, and Evert Amssoms for tagging along to Frankfurt.

Please let me know what you thought of the session, or if you have any questions!
